We've booked 12 places at £5 per child. We'd like 12 children to turn up or we will waste places and not able to a refund.

We had a list of at least 20 children and had to restrict numbers to 12.

It's next weekend. Will it be rude to invite other children in the class if we do get any refusals?

How long to parents gwenerally take to send an rsvp?

Telephone around the parents, if you have their numbers. They may not have got the invitation from their child, or just not have got round to it yet.

It might seem a bit rude to invite people from school if you don't get sufficient numbers, though. Could you ask people from outside school?

Hi Sanity Clause.

There are people at school she'd like to have but we couldn't afford more places. I'd prefer to ask school friends.

The teacher has put the invites in the book bags, so I know they'll have them.

I will try and ask who's coming, tomorrow at school but half are at breakfast club and after-school club so I don't really know who their parents are.
