Ideas for DS 13 birthday party

My DS really wants a party for his 13th birthday. He wanted to take his friends to Go Ape but not only it's expensive but a ratio of 1 adult/2 children is required. Any other ideas for outdoor birthday activities?

Where are you based? Have a look and see if you have any scout activity centres nr you they often do parties too...

why not him plus 1 mate to Go Ape, then pizza and a DVD at home with a group of friends?

or what about a nerf gun or water fight then food at home

or - hire a pitch and do 5 a side/11 a side football?
