Bursting balloons... what can I do?

Have just spent 'nap time' blowing up balloons for DD's party on Sunday. So far... 10 have burst for no apparent reason. I can't imagine the remaining 6/7 will last the night. Apart from frazzled nerves, I am wondering how I can possibly end up with 30 balloons at the party start 2 days away. I am going to try another packet in case the first was dodgy. But I'm just wondering if there are any tricks for conserving them. Any ideas, please?

I think the heat affects them. Can you wait until Sunday and get someone to help you do it?

Hmmm I did wonder about that. Could be a bit tricky as I have to do most of the food on the day plus look after the girls. I think I'll have to leave it as late as possible. Thanks.
