Lots of novelty cakes \link{http://www.haveyourcakeandeatit.org/noveltycakes\here}.
Pictures are a bit small unless you click on them individually but number 119 is a handbag, lipstick etc

HTH

The only picture that keeps springing to my mind is a "lipstick" shaped cake. Have spent ages googling but can't find any piccies. Hopefully your "cakemaker" has a good imagination and can think one up. [smile}

How about a cake shaped like a make-up box, with the individual items inside it being the real thing.

Thank you!!
BS those pics are great ideas.
AP can't quite picture what you mean with 'items inside being real thing' - sorry if being thick, but it is lateGrin.
Sparkler yes I keep thinking about lips but I worry about it looking like Mick Jaggers'!!!

Sorry, distracted here in Colorado. What I meant was a bag shaped cake with lid and then inside you could put real lipstick, brushes, eyeshadows etc as a specially surprise for your dd - that way she'd have her own special makeup, obviously the bag would be far too yummy to keep. Think of me, my ds2 says he wants a pteradactyl as his cake and I'm making it!!!!!!!! ds1 had a stegasaurus for his 4th. So thinking of getting into cake making as a serious hobby. Good luck I'm sure whatever you pick it'll be great.
