1960s party - what to wear?

I'm going to a 1960s party and need to dress accordingly. I fancy going as a hippy but I'm not sure what to wear - any ideas?

I have a floral skirt and top and some long beads, would that do? The skirt and top aren't normally worn together as they do clash terribly, but well, it's the 1960s after all!

I would wear a long bright skirt and a black vest top with beads and a load of bracelets.....you can get bracelets for pennies....paint a flower on your face too....wear sandals,.
