My son's 5th birthday party is going to be a bug-hunt/picnic/games in our local woods. We are inviting parents to stay rather than dropping kids off because it's outdoors and there's water nearby, but intend to bribe them to do so by offering refreshments! What shall I give them? I thought beers/wine/soft drinks but what about food? Kids are having picnic boxes and adult food has to be portable as site is long way from car. Also want to avoid anything that will melt/go squidgy/attract wasps!! Party is from 3-5pm. What do you think?

My fail safe offering is Champagne and smaoked salmon/beef/hamsandwiches.
Always wolfed.

If I was a parent I wouldn't expect to be catered for.

Just some drinks - . Nothing with alcohol if they'd be driving. At the most some crisps or crackers.
