Is High School Musical still ok for a sleepover party?

My DD is having a sleepover party for her 7th birthday, with 4 friends aged 6 to 8. I want to get them a DVD to watch and seem to remember High School Musical being all the rage about 5 or 6 years ago, when of course DD was too young to see it. Do you think it would be a good film to show now, or will it seem "dated" etc???

your probably better of asking them what they want to watch,
my 8th old dd loved high school musical last year but not so much now.

more recent films might be best- I can't think of any at all at the moment :)

Check with them first, or at least with your DD.

Think a lot of young children still like it though, but I'd check for the slightly older ones, mainly to check if they have seen it or not.
