Ten pin bowling party for 5 and 6 year olds?

We have booked a ten pin bowling party for DS who will turn 6yo on his birthday, and a few of his classmates (all between 5 and 6 years of age). It is just one game, which will last around 45 mins - 1hr, and then a lunch afterwards. There will be 12 children maximum.

Has anyone else held a ten pin bowling party and was it a success with this age group?

They will put the ramps out and the bumpers up so you should be Ok.
You do need an adult per lane to do the computer, lift the balls and stabilise the ramp.

Thanks startail Smile. I've organised two helpers (family member) and there will be DH and myself helping anyway, so there should be enough adults around to help out over two lanes (six per lane).
