I will send her flowers and a card but I also want to buy her something. She is not into jewellery / handbags / makeup etc... She lives in Canada so it has to be something I can post, i.e. not perfume, candles or anything too heavy.
I would say her hobbies are smoking 
, crosswords, reading.....
