What do I need to remember to do tomorrow for DD's party?

She has a party arranged for Sun morning in a Soft Play place. So no games/pirzes to organise.

I have cups, party food boxes and party favours sorted. I plan to go to Tescos tomorrow to buy food - snadwiches, mini sausages, pack of crisps and some sort of mini cake for each child in their box. Also need a birthday cake and candles...

Have I forgotten anything?

drink? I'm sure you haven't forgotten it but you haven't mentioned it...

Black sack or box to take presents and cards home in.

oh yes have drink on my list here.

forgotten bin bags though and will get a big box to transport the food to the party so can use that for presents home...

what else - I have a real nagging feeling....

Am planning a party for my two girls soon and found netmums really helpful. I hadn't done anything on their site before but found their article on parties excellent. Good luck - hope it goes well.

I stuck sticky labels on the kids with their names, on as I didn't know all the children in dd1 's class all by name

cece · 28/04/2006 19:59

Thanks a big help. Haven't given it a lot of thought since I sent out the invites. Have realised that several children have not replied - so no idea whether to expect them or not. Is it just me or is that rude??? They are 5 so really it is their parents ... Grrrrrr

Like the idea about the name tags - a lot of the boys all look the same to me! LOL

One of the parents has just called me about the party. He thought it was today - he therefroe was phoning to confirm and hour and half before the party! At least his DD is coming! Lets hope the find the place seeing as they had already got the date right!

It was really good.

Everyone had a nice time I think and even better it was fairly stress free apart from a frantic 40 mins this morning making sandwiches!

Unfortunately 4 people failed to turn up Sad Is it me or is that just rude!? One had replied yes and the other three didn't even bother to reply.
