PArty food suggestions please......

Think I have everything else sorted but am stuck here

have to cater for 7 3yr olds next saturday. They are having food in boxes.

what shall I give them that can be prepared and packed into the boxes in the morning or at the very least put in the boxes just before the darlings arrive at 3.30

savoury options only - sweet side covered as making cup cakes with fifi decorations on.

Hi not speaking from a huge amount of experience here but how about sandwich, sausage/sausage roll/chicken nugget (can be cold) few crisps and some fruit (apple bits, grape halves) from what everyone says they don't eat much but a bit of variety is probably good for the fussy eaters. Could also search old threads have seen some good ideas here and there.

have been planning dd's birthday party for a few months, so here's a list of stuff that me and my sister thought of:

Fish Fingers with Tartar Sauce

Chicken Franks

stir-fried noodles/fried rice (not sure if suits your purpose tho, ie boxed)

Finger Sandwiches

Fresh Fruit- an apple or orange or banana?

Spring Roll/ Samosa

Chicken Nuggets

pitta bread
mini boxes raisins

cocktail sausages (M and S do a ready-to-eat pack for under a £1)
sticks of cheddar
cheese straws
breadsticks
filled pitta "sandwiches" - spread with hummous, marmite or tuna mayonnaise, add cucumber etc and cut into fingers
filled finger rolls
Twigletts or hula hoops
cherry tomatoes/cucumber/grapes etc ina small pot or bag

Nigella suggests marmite sandwichs made by creaming the butter first (like for a cake) then beating in the marmite.

I've done this, and it makes lovely creamy marmite sandwiches and you dont have to butter the bread separately. Bit basic but good for little ones. Could press out into shapes with cookie cutters.
