The title says it all really. We are hoping to tie the knot later next year and the venue search is on.

Would really like the ceremony and reception to be in one place, or very close proximity. Doesn't have to be particularly traditional or formal, we quite like quirky. A late licence would be great, and needs to be child-friendly as have lots coming! Basically we want a big party Grin. Does anyone have any ideas?

I wanted my reception at The Eagle and Child pub near Parbold. But dh didn't. We did Liverpool Town Hall and The Racquet Club.

Some great ideas :) thanks - am going to do some on-line reseach tomorrow. Have had a look at the palm house - it does look amazing, but don't think the bugdet will stretch that far Sad. We were intially oping to get outside caterers in to keep the cost down, but seems this isn't an option in many venues, so any venues where this is possible would be great.
