My baby turns 1 soon and I really want to throw him a party; not that he'll remember or even know what's going on but more to mark the occassion and celebrate! We want to invite some mummy friends (and babies) and close family (incl kids), which means having it somewhere other than our place.

We're in saf london and there are 2 pubs that could be good but I'm not sure which one to go for.

#1 is kind of our local and lovely but doesn't have a play area. They may be able to put down a little baby play area but the older kids wont have anything to keep them occupied.

#2 is amazing, nice place and has a special play area that's covered and contained; its much more suitable... But its not super local, its a bus ride + walk or car journey - will this be too much of a hass for the local mums to get to?

Which one would you go for? TIA

The second one- children with nothing to do and no space will be a nightmare. Couldn't you just hire a hall?

Thanks exotic, I'm looking into that option too but liked the pub idea as it's more low key! Thanks for responding Smile

I'm surprised that you didn't get more replies. Space and something to do for the children is more important than anything else.
