What a dilemma... DS is very friendly with one of the birthday boys, knows the other one but not really friends with him - what do I do ?

I would take two, just a little something for the one he doesn't know well.

Definitely 2. Imagine if they both greet your ds and there's only one present Sad

What is the wording on the invite, if it says x and y would like to invite ds to their party I take it as meaning two presents. If it says x and y are having a party and x would like to invite ds then only a present for x is expected.

Tbh I would do as others suggested a fairly cheap but ok present for other boy and different one for his friend, I often give different gifts in that situation, just make sure gift tags etc very firmly attached so they don't get accidently swoped!

If invite from both - 2 presents
If invite only from 1 child - 1 present (plus card for other?)

DD went to a joint party this weekend - girl and her sister. DD took a gift for her class mate but not the younger sister. Everyone did the same.
