Islands. Bit like musical chairs but with paper plates on the floor to stand on instead of chairs.
Pass the teddy. Pass it round circle. If youre holding it when music stops you are out.
Sleeping lions at the end.

Thanks for the ideas, keep em coming. We do pass the puppy when you pass toy dig round, when music stops you get a sweet from under the blanket in the dogs basket, can be adapted to different animals or pass the pirate hat etc.

If you have room best party I ever went to as a kid had a dancing competition. Cam last about ten mins / three songs. After each song give lots of prizes (sweets?) eg best rhythm, best move, best overall dancer etc so that by end every kid has had a prize and is exhausted and ready for tea.

pass the balloon - two lines of children, first passes over head to one behind, they pass through legs to next child. last one in queue runs to front and the winning team is the one when the first person makes it back to the front.
