Hi, our road is having a garden party for the Jubilee. BBQ and drinks in one garden and games next door.

Only 8 children ranging from 3 to 10 yrs.

So far we have come up with:

Treasure Hunt
Pin the Crown on the Queen
Piñata
Races - maybe sack race, dressing up, ball slalom
Beat the goalie

Any other ideas, especially games adults can join in too after they've had a few

We did a quiz last year. Could be combined with Treasure Hunt so teams of adults and children?
Some version of welly-throwing - crown frisbeeing? (We did a bouquet toss last year and it was a good ice-breaker). Or maybe trhowing crowns over post, like a game of quoits.
Craft activity (crowns again?)

Make a crown/tiara/hat competition?

Tug of war - kids only, mums only, dads only

The party host has a quoits set, throwing crowns is ingenious.

I remember a tug of war being fun at our 1977 party. Will ask my builder neighbour if he has a big rope and hope he doesn't get the wrong idea!

Was considering a quiz, thank you mumsnet for suggestions if music in the Jubilee section.
