Make-up party bags?

My DD will be 15 soon, and having about 7 or 8 friends to a party. I am wondering whether to do make-up/beauty party bags instead of giving a bag of sweets.

Do you think this will go down well? I don't want to spend a fortune, I already have lots of bath pearls and individual sachets of bath confetti. I thought of getting individual face masks, and maybe flannels. Does anyone have any good ideas about what else I could put in the bags? Are there any shops that do a sort of pick and mix for this type of thing?

Definitely go to Poundland!
I went in there the other day and bought about 5 Rimmel Nail varnishes, some Sally Hansen lip gloss, and some other branded make up - was v.pleased!!

Individual face masks are good; maybe just pop into Superdrug and see if they have any other 'travel' or individual things that are cheap!

have a look in superdrug, poundland and wilkinsons, they sell that kind of stuff fairly cheaply.

i would maybe be concerned about allergies? and would have a few standby bits if some guests couldnt use some things? ie i have eczema and couldnt use bath pearls etc.

but i think its a perfectly reasonable idea :)

esp the face mask and flannels etc a bit more grown up but not over the top :)

what about cheap nail varnish you can get packs of little nail polishes quite cheap and one each and those foam toe spacers for when you paint your toe nails?

Brilliant idea! I would have loved this when I was 15 and still would

How about body glitter? I've seen multipacks very cheap that you could buy & split. Also little packs of nail art stickers. I'd imagine you'd get a few sheets in a pack so, again, could split.

...and I've seen 3 packs of chuppa chups flavoured lip balms in discount shops which might work...
