What would you think if someone postponed a party because of...........

DD1 invited to party next week, involved an outdoor activity and now it's been postponed until the weather's better. Should I buy a gift for the child anyway or wait until the party is rescheduled? Or would you assume that perhaps it's been postponed for a financial reason and that it's never going to be rescheduled.

Wait until it's rescheduled to give a present. I wouldn't doubt the reason either.

I'd wait till rescheduled or you may feel guilty at not taking something on the day when/if it is. You could always send a card if you know when the birthday is and you feel you should do something
