my daughter is having a joint 4th birthday party with another wee girl in her nursery whose birthday is the same day.

is it ok just to do 1 party bag from both of us? or should we both be giving them out?

1 party, 1 party bag

(But expect parents to only spend half the amount on presents for your DD).

I usually spend £8-10 on a normal party and then £4-5 if its a joint party. I would however, only expect the one bag in return.

Sorry, To clarify (before I sound really grabbing!) I wouldn't expect one, but I would expect only the one party bag to be the norm (if done at all!)

One party bag but perhaps put a bit more in than normal?

I agree one party bag, maybe spend more, but they probably won't appreciate it any more if you do! Joint birthdays are great, half the cost, work, and less time out of family life for attenders!
