I'm organising a naming ceremony / 1st birthday party for DD, and have few last things to get. I've been looking around online but there's so much out there and it's difficult to see what's good and what's not.

-I'm thinking of doing favours for people to take home (is that the right word?) So I'm after sugared almonds and bags / boxes to put them in.
Does anyone know of a good online or high street place to try?

-I did see
www.lakeland.co.uk/12007/50-Presentation-Bags
these bags and thought they could be good? Or, are they too big and would need chocolate etc in, like on the picture?

  • I'm also after some red paper plates, are plastic ones better?

Thanks for reading! I think I'm getting a bit overthinky about it all, but I want it to be special. There will be about 50 guests, and I'm on a pretty limited budget.

Those Lakeland bags are cheap but by the time you've bought all the ribbon they would be much cheaper and you'll spend hours cutting and tying whereas the organza bags that look prettier are drawstring. You get 5 of them for £1 so that's £10 on bags - not too expensive, especially if your plates are so cheap!

I meant wouldn't be much cheaper, not would be!

Thank you so much !! I didn't think to look on Amazon.
I think you're right about the organza bags looking prettier, and aren't those plates cheap!!
