Tamba asked a couple of weeks ago if anyone knew Birmingham city centre, because she wanted to go shopping but doesn't know her way around, and rather than trying to tell her on the thread where everything is, I offered to go with her. The makeover was a bit cheeky; she wanted to buy some makeup and so she had a quick makeover at one of the makeup stalls while we were mooching in Debenhams to get a bit of advice on foundations - then went and bought some cheaper makeup somewhere else!

We had a lovely day, spent ages gossiping in Starbucks, I trudged poor old Tamba's feet off around the shops, we had a nice lunch and spent too much money on the kids! She's really sweet but made me feel soooo old, because not only am I old enough to be her mum, I'm older than her mum ...

My feet are fine I was just wearing dhs (odd) socks and they got scrunched up lol

Was a really fab day. its been ages since I had someone to go shopping with and have a good chat with

I loved playing with all the make up especially the glittery ones - the back of my hand was shocking sparkly lol

I have so got to get some more of them!

Can I come next time? I only live about 10 miles from Birmingham, but I've never been shopping there!

I am being taken out for a meal tonight. Mil took my shopping today and bought me loads of new clothes and then took me out for Sunday lunch too!
