Hello ladies,

I'm generally looking for ideas on these two themes - any ideas welcome - there is a great site for party ideas (American, I think) which is often recommended on these threads, but can't find it, would be v grateful for a reminder... cheers!

we have a good Lego game called creationary. its like Pictionary but with lego. its aimed at older children but my son has enjoyed it since he was 5. Be aware that some children may not have played with much lego at home.

I think the lego.com website sells Lego party kits, if you find out what is in them then it may give you ideas. Also, I was thinking of starting a Lego club at my sons school a while back and found lots of websites about school lego clubs with ideas of what they did each week; you could use some of these?

I once hosted a tea party for a friend's hen and didnt have the requiste 3-tier tea serving plates so I built them out of my posh dinner plates and towers of Duplo. They looked very effective, perhaps you could lay the table with lego, make lego shaped cakes/lollies??

great stuff zipity. In fact, we have a mouse-trap tunnel made from Duplo - a frequently used mouse-run, tunnelled over with Duplo, leading to a "Big Cheese" trap - very Tom and Jerry.

will surf Lego.com straight away.

DS has had both those themes... the lego one in 2010 and the HP theme in 2011.

spent hours searching sites particularly those good US ones and got loads of ideas.

Have loads of info so not sure whether you want me to post it all one here or if you want to pm me.....

Hazel, would it be ok if I PM'd you too? I'd love to do a Lego party and some tried and tested ideas would be good!
Thanks.

Lego website had half price party packs for 10 guests for 14:99 probably still a rip off, but worth looking at.
