How do I put mini hot dogs into a grapefruit to make it look like a head???

Have been looking through archived threads for ideas about food and games for children's parties, as dd is having one tomorrow, and found a post which said to put mini hot dogs into a grapefruit so it looks like a head. For the life of me I cannot visualise this and it is obsessing me! Can anyone help me? The original post was from twinsetandpearls.

I think spear them on cocktail sticks and stick them around the grapefruit so the sausages look like hair

remember the cocktail sticks taste of grapefruit and the hot dog/grapefruit combo is not a good one

Not to mention potentially quite scary for the guests...

OK, can just about visualise sausages looking like hair, am off to buy a grapefruit! I think that trying it is going to be the only answer. Apparently the children at twinsetandpearl's party at the sausages in 3 seconds when they were arranged in this way. Maybe I could persuade dd to eat other things by displaying them this way.....
