DS's 7th birthday party is on Saturday and we've planned a bonfire party in the garden for 8 children, with just a small fire, cooking sausages, toasting marshmallows and sitting around the fire singing songs. We also planned a monster hunt in the wood opposite, but had a plan B for that as we can do it in the house in the dark with torches.
Saturday's forecast is heavy rain so I need a plan B for the fire/ food. Any fantastic mumsnet ideas please?
