Sales/ladies theme parties e.g Avon/Anne Summers/Jamie Oliver- what next?!

Every year I like to do a Christmas drinks/nibbles party for the ladies in my road (cos I'm so antisocial the rest of the year!) but I like to get someone to come in to do something like a sale or a recipe demo - to give us a talking point/bit of a theme. We are a group of group of 25 ladies aged 20 - to 70 who don't know each other very well -so it needs to be inclusive, and preferably cheery. The Jamie Oliver thing went very well, Avon slightly less so and I haven't actually dared do Anne Summers!! I was thinking scarves/jewelry/Christmas things or doing colours or something? Any ideas? Ifyou do parties can you help?

Maybe Pampered Chef if you liked Jamie Oliver.

Yes, Pampered Chef is great fun as it can be as interactive as you like so that people can join in the demo if they want. Pampered Chef have also just started doing Express Shows so you can have a much shorter demo with more time to chat and chill out if people want to afterwards.

Try Neal's Yard. Lovely organic beauty products with a newly launched range of room scents: candles, sprays and reed diffusers.

The host gets a lovely free facial, as well as lots of benefits ( that can be used for charity/reffles, etc if you'd like to). If the facial's not your thing, you could ask the consultant to change it so that she demonstrates the lovely Melissa range of hand care products (so everyone gets a chance to be pampered).

Can you tell I'm a Neal's Yard Consultant? Xmas Grin
