I wouldn,t fancy Mcd's for a party and ethics are nothing to do with it. I would be worried about being responsible for loads of kids in a busy public area, not so bad if you are only taking a couple. Not much room for games and stuff. Mcd's make me very stressfull as do parties so I wouldn't combine the 2. We do eat fast food ocasionally but usually take out. I have seen a few in progress any always seemed unorgainised.

Up to the age of 5 we haved hired the local hall or activity centre which includes a bouncy castle, and provided simple food. They are more intereseted in running about and dancing so stick on a CD and play a few traditional games as well.

For DD's 6 birthday we had a "make a pizza party" in Pizza hut. I wouldn't recomend this for under 6 yrs. Takes a while for them all to make there Pizzas and for them to arrive. I took extra colouring books and pencils but I wish I had orgainised more table top games.

PS McD's food isn't that crappy any more but I know most aren't convinced.
