We are having a little party for my 2 year old daughter in a coulple of weeks time. There is:
one 1 yr old coming
Three 2 yr olds
One 3 yr old
Two six yr old

Any ideas for party games that might suit them all?

Also any ideas for food - I've got to cater for the 10 adults coming too!

Stick to the traditional ones and you have half a chance of the older ones knowing what to do. Like musical bumps and pass the parcel. With these ages I would put a present in each layer to stop tantrums, similarly a present or sweetie when they get put out of other games.

Sounds sensible - thanks.

Have just done a party for my 2 year old!

I found stick the tail on the donkey worked really well - the older children use blinds, but the 2 year olds don't need them!

Find the XX. I hid lots of cards (teletubbies, as that was our theme) and they had to complete their cards by finding the 6 matching pictures. The pictures were hidden around the house. Obviously mummies / elder siblings helped.

A bubble machine - went down a storm and I also bought a balloon net, and at the end of the bubbles we let the balloons fall on the children. That went down very well!!!

I also did pass the parcel, but I did it after they had eaten their food. As they were still eating (on a mat on the floor), this kept them occupied and the pack of buttons in each layer also helped!!

Didn't do bumps or chairs or anything else, found the 2 year olds and younger were a bit too young for it, so we had lots of dancing with action songs for the children to join in (like mulberrry bush etc) and then free play with a ball pool etc.

Oh and when they arrived they also decorated hats. I bought plain hats and made some TT pictures which they glued on (stick glues) and stuck feathers, glitter (sticks) etc. Kept the children busy whilst they were waiting for everyone else to arrive!!

HTH!!
