I am having 38 people to my house in a couple of weeks to help us celebrate my daughters communion day.

22 adults and 16 children.

Everyone will arrive back at 11.30am so not too sure about hot food etc.

I had thought about just having a buffet for people arriving back. If after a few hours people are still here we were going to ask the local curry take away shop to provide curry for everyone. I would probably just cook pizza and sausage rolls etc. for any kids then.

I am looking for idea's for the buffet. Preferably stuff I can do the day/night before as won't have time on morning to do anything (have four kids and myself to get ready and out door for 9.30am.

Any suggestions ideas most welcome.

Thanks.

dips and crudites prepared night before

French bread and cheeseboard/baby bels/cold meat if someone can conveniently nip to shop for bread after service

bunches of grapes

crisps

Frozen party nibbles - sausage rolls etc that can be popped in oven.

Have a lovely day.
