What did you do for your 30th/40th birthdays?

I am turning 30 this year and would like to do something. Just no idea what as I havent properly celebrated a birthday since 21.

Just interested in what other people did to see what I might fancy.

DP took my to New York for my 30th birthday, which was great! But I also hired a hall and had a party with all my friends and family too.
