Hi,
Ds has a few parties coming up and it's the first time I've had to buy a present in £s! (We've been living overseas for a while).

I don't want to go ridiculously under or over, so can you tell me roughly how much you spend on presents for 7 year olds?

Very very much appreciated!! Thanks for any advice.

£5 or £6 for general classmates

If really good friend then £8 - £10

this is a good 7yo boy present - it is a twin pack - 2 battle striker sets, plus two additional tops - so you have two presents at £5 each. I brought a pack to have in the cupboard for presents last week.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I've been looking at different things for a few days but really had absolutely no idea. It's so hard when you don't know the boys very well.

It was DS1's birthday party last week, I'd say the gifts from his friends were all between £5-10. Some people just put £10 in a card.
I normally spend £5-10 on presents.

Thanks Lizzylou. Do you think £13 - £15 would be seen as ott?

It depends, is it a good friend? I don't think so anyway, tbh. I am sure it would be gratefully received.
