It's my DD's 5th birthday next month. Definitely feel like there is a move towards giving out one main thing instead of a party bag with loads of tat. So, DD has been to parties that have given out angel wings, skipping ropes, foam aeroplanes, etc. Have been trying to come up with something suitable. Have eventually come across 'mosaic by numbers', little coloured sticky squares that make a picture. My DD did one this afternoon and was quiet and enthralled for 2 hours doing it. I think a good idea for party bag. DH thinks boys will find boring. I have found cars, planes, helicopter designs for boys and flowers, butterflys for the girls. What do you think?
