What did your ds get for his 12th birthday? Ideas wanted!

Ds is soon to be 12. I haven't bought anything for his birthday yet. He doesn't have a playstation or gamebox (I'm not sure I'm getting these words right) but then he doesn't seem to have that much spare time, either, between school, scouts, football, daily music practice, reading, tv, socialising etc. He's never asked for either of these either. Can you help by listing a present or presents that your ds loved, please?

We bought our nephew -a Quiksilver top ( very brand aware! adn I got him a voice activated money safe ( John Lewis £15.95)

an mp3 player?

Thanks for your suggestions. He mainly wears sport clothes featuring his favourite football team but there's not much left to get except maybe a trackie type top. He did get the catalogue out the other day so perhaps that would be one good pressie. I think they have Quiksilver in a shop I know, too. I'll take a look.

An mp3 player? Right. I'll have to look that one up - I'm very much IT illiterate! Ah, it's a music player! I'll take a proper look. It's refusing to download. Probably because I'm on 2 websites at one time already.
