Fairy party craft idea but what for boys?

DD wants a fairy party but there are a few older boys coming (6 yo) and I have a feeling they won't want to make fairy wings like the girls.

Any suggestions as to what an alternative activity could be would be most welcome

Wings - but black ones.

Capes - bit superhero ish.

Shield idea is pretty good, but they will want to fight if you give them swords.
