Children's party style for adults

Okay, have got about 10 friends coming over for new year - going to do a silly 'children's party' type theme. Has anyone done this? Just wondering what games worked best. Obviously we will have lots of alcohol, and friends are very happy to be childish with us. I'm thinking of pass the parcel (forfeits), musical chairs, murder in the dark... any other suggestions?

Thanks Grin

Vodka in the jelly (immature emoticon)

The chocolate game is always funny....throw the dice, when you get a 6 dress up in hat/gloves/scar/ start eating the wrapped up chocolate with a knife and fork..untll someone else throws a 6.

Love it - both great ideas, thanks! Remember playing the chocolate game on NY's eve about 8 years ago funnily enough (with a group of adults), worked brilliantly, especially with a ridiculous wig and glasses.

Excellent, my plan is developing nicely, I can't wait! [over-excited emoticon]

Okay, so I reckon it'll work best based around games that we all played as kids (in the 80s) - are there any really random ones that anyone remembers? My list is now:

Murder in the dark
Pass the parcel with forfeits
Musical chairs
Musical statues (if people have eaten enough vodka jelly to dance between standing still... Grin)
Chocolate game
Are you there Moriarty (blindfolded, have to try and hit opponent with rolled up newspaper, from my childhood..)

Any other suggestions? And any ideas for a big finale before midnight?

Thank you, I am too tired to think properly...
