Gift ideas for 6 year old - tickets?

My DD will be 6 in early Dec - we have too many toys already so I've been pondering whether tickets to a show or an event might be an idea for her main present.

Any suggestions/experiences gratefully received - we're near Cambridge.

The most obvious would be a panto at this time of year. Or a special Father Christmas event; around here he hangs out on barges, in steam trains, anywhere you like really.

Don't know what is on in your area but there would be loads of choice of theatres in London - heard that the Railway Children is amazing!
