Im having an casual small family party to celebrate my mums and my birthday. I need to work out what food we are having. I dont want to be cooking on the day. I will be making a cake and that's as much as I want to be doing. I was thinking takeaway but would need one that wouldn't break the bank family are very fussy grandma doesn't like anything spicy or pizza, Dad doesn't do pizza and will tolerate mild spice. Brother will do mild spice.
Any suggestions?

we regularly hold small family parties for birthdays and i have found that the easiest way to do it is by having an "indoor bbq". i cook in the oven burgers, sausages, chicken drumsticks, onion rings, potato wedges, pizza. then provide a small tossed salad and bread buns.

everything goes in the oven so its little effort and everyone is happy
