Bollywood party for DD age 6

DD hates discos but rather enjoys Bollywood dancing and dressing up - have to plan her party as well as DS' spy party now as they have birthdays a week apart - so ideas please!

I'm thinking that essential elements will be good music and somebody with mike to call out moves etc, bales of cheap sari silk wrapped around room, not v. spicy Indian food.

Has anyone done this? Any feedback? TIA

havent done it, but sounds like a fab idea, and a funky variation on the often repeated princess theme. I would have some spare sari material on hand aswell as they will all doubtless want to dress up!
you could jazz it up with some stick on jewels and poss some fake henna style tattoos?

Thank you very much - will add bindis/henna tattoos to list and get cheap bracelets and anklets for party bag.

Any more ideas from anyone [hopeful emoticon]

Also have lots of cars horning.

In India they do not use indicators instead use horns to communicate to other drivers.
And yes there are lots of accidents...
