Can I pick your brains please?

Got a hall booked from 12.15 until 2 on a Saturday without twenty 2, 3 & 4 year olds Confused... I have booked a children's entertainer for half an hour. I need help to decide what order to do things in terms of when to do food (when children arrive or at the end?), when to ask the entertainer to come and how many party games I am likely to fit in? (I am thinking just one pass the parcel game near the end)

Thanks!

here's what I'd do.

12.15 until 12.30 ish everyone arrives, play with balloons etc

12.30 ish entertainer

1.00 ish Food

1.20 ish party games - Passtheparcel etc, have a few on hand, have plnety of balloons and the children will be happy mucking about with them

I sometimes print out colouring in sheets for the children to do at the beginning or end, passes the time for some of them

Thanks for that, - it is along the lines of what I was thinking but was a bit worried that most of the children are used to eating at 12! They will be fine!
