Just like some of these threads I was worrying about what games/entertainment to do for my daughters 6th Birthday Party until I found this fantastic entertainer called "Jolley Fun Time", his name is Tony Jolley and is is fantastic with kids, even the shy ones bringing them out of themselves without them even realising it!
We had magic from the moment he walked through the door, with disco lights and GREAT music (the Gummy Bear song is still in my head!). He even brought a snow machine, I think the neighbours could hear the squeals of laughter several doors down. He also does some quite imaginative games and as I've mentioned, is great with shy children. Tony is very aproachable and is willing to tailor make the party so you won't be disappointed. I can't recommend him highly enough!
He does either 1 or 2 hour parties, we had 1 hour and it worked well as the first half hour they arrive, the next hour was wall to wall entertainment and in the last half hour they eat!
