Daughter travelling to Australia alone (GPS Apple Watch help)

She’s 22. She will be meeting up with organised tours etc.

She wants an Apple Watch (GPS) that she can take with her and be able to use even if her phone is not near her.

I am researching and going around in circles! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have no idea what plans to look at etc of whether I can sort an Australian plan out from the UK?

Any Apple Watch Ultra will have GPS and Cellular connnection so you can use it without the phone nearby. Just ask about charges for the cellular part - as it sounds like she could incur roaming charges. You will need a phone plan so it will work though.

How exciting for her! My DSD went by herself nearly three years ago!

She had to get an Australian phone plan and bank account but now she has a better bank. It was a little stressful getting it sorted as was finding somewhere to live but with support she is loving it!
