Adult DC drinking

Just looking for opinions on whether I’m unreasonable to be concerned about the amount my (live at home) adult DC is drinking over the Christmas period.

Tonight is the sixth night of drinking. I’m told tonight is only a couple, but the previous 5 have mostly been spread across full days/nights.

There’s an occasion tomorrow which I suspect will involve further drinking.

If there’s no drinking on Tuesday, it will definitely start again on Wednesday for NYE, then NYD, and then it will be a standard Fri/Sat.

Am I right to be concerned about this, or would you write it off as a standard 21yo Christmas holiday period?

Throughout the year, I drink very little, but I've drunk alcohol 7 days out of the last 7.
I think Christmas is different.

I wouldn't dream of accepting an alcoholic drink before midday the rest of the year, but on Christmas day I don't think it is unusual for people to be having 'Christmas drinks', for example ?

I wouldn't be judging them on this last week.
I would if they were drinking every day throughout the year.

It’s Christmas, we’ve all had a drink 4 days in a row, today we didn’t . We are out again tomorrow then Hogmanay drinking too.

this doesn’t happen at any other time of year apart from at Christmas..
