Mam bottles - can I put in water to heat?

Mam bottles have the holes in the bottle and seal, which I swear I’ve heard you can’t warm a bottle by placing it in water, is this true?

Yes that's right, if you put them in a bowl of water it will take in water through the holes in the bottom. Use a microwave or hold upright under a hot tap

Thank you. Can we use microwave? I heard not to as it causes hot spots? I bought a tommee tipee bottle warmer but I didn’t realise it’s a travel one so you fill it up with hot water and put the bottle in which won’t work with my bottles

Yeah just do 5-10 seconds, stop, swirl the milk round a bit, repeat until desired temp. Or do it all in one go but swirl the milk in the bottle before feeding to mix any hot spots

I always made up all bottles the night before, kept in fridge and warmed in microwave when needed

Thank you 🙏
