My adult kids have left. One will come back after travelling but for now we are just us 2
Things I've noticed around the house
I can run a bath knowing that there will be hot water because one (or all!) of them haven't just had a 20 minute shower
The kitchen is just as I left it the night before (ie not strewn with midnight pasta feast detritus)
The cats come and sit with me 😬. I like this one a lot.
We have milk.
