Last day it was my sons 2nd bday and he didn't even call us mama dada.he can say mama dada but can't associate. He won't respond to his name nor he will make eye contact. The only time he will make eye contact when we sing for him. 2nd September is our psychologist appointment and I know what is coming for us. I feel sad down defeated scared . Watching other parents with same age toddlers enjoying every bit of parenting making me feel crying everyday. How cutely their toddles interact with them and we can't even have a normal conversation with ours he won't look at us seems like he is not interested at all.i am feeling so so down today so I am writing all up 😔

Big hugs to you thisneedyhedgehog. I've been there. It's a scary place at the start when you don't know what's going on or what the future holds. Easier said than done but try not to compare to other children, it only leads to heartbreak. My kids were similar at that age. They're in primary school now, they are changing as they grow. They say I love you to me now and it melts my heart every time. Sometimes the milestones are on a different time line to other kids but that doesn't mean they won't come or they may come in a slightly different way. Take care of yourself xx
