Ds smoking weed

Just found ds in the garden shed smoking weed..he's 18. He knows my feelings on this as we had a conversation some months ago and I said that although I couldn't stop him doing it he wasn't to do it at home. Tonight he's said he thought I meant not in the house and that the garden and shed was okay.
I told him he's to find somewhere else to live and he thinks I am delusional and unfair.
He's stormed off now presumably to a mates to smoke it there.

Sending hugs. He broke your rules and betrayed your trust. Sorry you are going through this.

You've every right to not have it in your house,or garden shed. Tough luck DS. But it's not the worst thing he could do and chances are he will give it up soon enough and get on with the rest of his life. Do you know his friends? Are they good kids, will love they put up with a long term stoner? Also, what does your boy plan to do workwise? He'll need to have long since given up to join any of the emergency services, any driving job, social work, certain store staff, security, any job that requires security vetting, the army , construction, etcetc.

@Somanycats i disagree. most weed users I know have started from a young age and never gave up? I fear the long term effects

His closest friend also smokes weed and his parents allow him to do so in the house.
He's working at a local shop , having decided not to go to uni .
He's not sure what he wants to do careerwise long term

I am so disappointed that he 's ignored our conversations about this.
