Desperately seeking 21st present ideas for son

Ds is turning 21 in a few weeks. He would like cash and a surprise, I'm struggling for ideas.

Ideally I'd like to get him something special which would last at least a few years.

He's got a smart watch and not keen on having a traditional watch. He's very good at loosing jewellery. Wouldn't appreciate a posh pen.

Budget around £200. All ideas appreciated.

When our girls turned 21 I bought them 21 presents. Time and budget might not allow for this idea but it went down so well.
The presents all reflected something personal about them both from childhood and current interests.

There was a mix of more expensive items and budget but significant memory attached presents.

Not a keepsake but driving experience? Concert tickets? Footy match? Nice trainers, new designer jacket.

Something attached that he can’t lose, like a tattoo? 😇

We got DS a nice watch but it was over twenty years ago. Hmm, it's tricky nowadays, as youngsters tend not to wear watches any more.
Does he like works of art? Maybe a painting or a small sculpture?

I made a surprise explosion gift box with photos from birth to 21 with quotes and messages from family members. Cost just under £20 from Amazon and a week or so put together.
In the centre had voucher for the Mercedes-Benz world driving experience, an engraved 21st keyring and pair of earrings.
