I remember the days of trying to get them to sleep in Christmas eve and hoping they lay in till 6am.....

Now they are both out separately at various pubs and I'm going to bed hoping to hear the key in the door before 6am..

I have the pleasure (?)of both adult dc getting in drunk and a young one that still believes , great combination 😩

I sort of do and then DS(17) was out working this evening so we could wrap his presents in peace, and when I came to bed I could hear him wrapping our presents in his bedroom, and it made me slightly emotional!

The day has been very relaxing right enough. No early starts and dinner was much appreciated. I like them at this age!!

I love this age actually. We have 21 18 11. Perfect combo. Lie in but still excited about Christmas 🎄 has been really lovely.

Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄❤

Those early mornings though. And spending all day knackered.

Early and mid twenties here. It's a lovely age and they bring equally lovable partners with them when they visit.

Youngish but old enough to cook, clean up and generally be pleasant company. DDs partner cooked lunch last time he was here, checking beforehand what we already had and bringing everything else.

Little ones are adorable at the time but I don't miss that stage.
