My daughters are off to a South American country to visit their grandparents... I took her to the airport this evening.. on the way .. just casual chat with my youngest (22) I asked who she considered her best friend at the moment... her answer was unequivocal (despite travelling with 3 close girlfriends) .. my sister.
Made me very very happy.
I have been on MN since before the 'small Korean lady in our garden' (a longtime !!)
So I am interested in other parents experiences.. I feel truly blessed that they have always adored each other despite a ten year age gap.. do others have a similar experience ? Did it last into marriage and children ? (They have a brother in between who is equally loved by them both despite being a bit of an aloof academic ) but not as close as these two.
