I have a daughter and a son, my daughter is 16 and began fearing death and myself and my husbands eventual death. She never wants to leave us and has entered a cycle of depression. No therapy or anything is helping her and I’m worried. I don’t know how to make her happy again, I’m 50 and she thinks my time is running out! I have no health issues and I feel helpless and sad for her.

How long ha she been on therapy? It takes time. Maybe it's not the right type of help. Doctor will be able to advise alternatives what she is having if it's been a while.

She’s done it on and of for 3 months (CBT) now and if anything it’s gotten slightly worse. It’s making myself a little worried with the things she’s saying it’s like she’s in an existential crisis!

I had a terrible fear of death as a child. I just had to work through it, by talking about it to anyone who would listen
I did get over it though, and hopefully your daughter will stop fearing it so much in time
