I never went to uni. Ds in last uni year close to graduation. What happens, when do they know their degree results?

Timings depend on individual Unis - ask your DS?

My DD got hers about a month before graduation l think. Maybe more. Then we had to book tickets to go and see it . Pay for lunch and stuff.

My Dad worked at a University, and I know graduation day was in July as it usually clashed with school fete so my mum & I went to help at the fete while he headed off to graduation.

I'd imagine the info would be on your Uni's website somewhere.

I was a mature student but it depends on the uni. I got my result in August, graduation wasn't until October. Some people I now work with got result same time and graduated in the January.

Classification comes out mid/late June, ceremonies can be any time from July into the following year but are optional.

Is classification the results?

Is classification the results?

Yes. And you don’t have to attend your graduation ceremony - the transcript of your results is the important thing, going forward.

Thanks again
